July 2022 – On July 13th, we held our annual retreat, which was focused on the Department of Higher Education’s Strategic Plan for Racial Equity. CONNECT CEOs and CDOs, as well as other key institutional leaders, convened to discuss how to operationalize the key components of the Plan within CONNECT’s regional work. It was a very productive day and our conversations helped establish our work plan for the upcoming academic year. Thank you to all who participated, especially Dr. Sabrina Gentlewarrior, for facilitating the session and to our board chair, Dr. Laura Douglas. You expertise and thoughtful contributions truly set the tone for the day and our year.
